The Health Industry Council Foundation was formed in late 2008 with 501(c) 3 designation filed in 2009. The Council serves as a resource for members and provides education and networking across all segments of a complex health industry. The Council Foundation is a means for our members to take action and effect change on issues of community health.
Champions In Health
Education and networking resource for workforce wellness coordinators. Hosts an Annual awards program that recognizes local businesses and organizations, both large and small, that have established, comprehensive and effective workplace wellness programs.
Community Health & Wellness: Health Disparity
Collaborate with multiple North Texas organizations (lead by the DFW Hospital Council) to create a website of community health data. Reports generated from this interactive data source will help identify DFW health disparities, what resources we have available to mitigate the occurrence of disparate outcomes, and offer the foundation an opportunity to initiate change.
Women Leaders in Health
Mentor and support women in leadership positions throughout the health industry in North Texas.
