The Health Industry Council is a non-profit, member-driven organization dedicated to advancing and supporting the health industry in North Texas.
As a unique collaboration of organizations committed to the development and delivery of quality and innovative healthcare, the Council is the principal resource for networking and thought leadership in Dallas/Fort Worth.
MISSION:
• Create synergy among the organizations involved in healthcare, and work to make the region a recognized center for the health industry on a local, national and international level;
• Foster and implement projects and initiatives on a local, national, and international basis and serve as a forum for communication among members of an increasingly integrated health industry;
• Initiate and/or support direct and indirect regional economic development activities related to healthcare and biotechnology;
• Serve as an educational and informational resource on matters affecting industry development.

Council strategy sessions provide a neutral ground for disparate segments of the industry to discuss innovations, barriers, ideologies, and solutions. Press releases and white papers are potential results of these expert-lead discussions.
Council promotion efforts are then focused on bringing regional and national recognition to the fact that North Texas is a united and innovative leader as the third largest health industry market in the United States.
